Family programme

The course for children and their parents consists of eighteen lessons per week in listening, speaking, reading and writing at the appropriate level and is designed on proven pedagogical principles provides students with pronunciation and grammar support, vocabulary improvement and a focused path to English proficiency.TALK International Family programme provides a fun and education vacation experience for children. Children get placed in classes based on their English level, small group sizes allow teachers to focus on individual needs, the kids’ rooms are comfortable and equipped with lots of age-appropriate materials, toys and games, fun activities include story times, scavenger hunts, outside play time and lots more. Kids love TALK “Special Surprise Fridays!” (for example: field trip or an ice cream truck at school). Children 13 and older join the regular courses with parents/adults (18 lessons of English per week).  

Activities and excursions

Year-round sunny tropical climate offers diverse outdoor recreational activities. Nearby attractions in the Florida Keys, Miami or the Palm Beaches offer students to visit museums, attend concerts, engage with nature or simply relax! Most of the activities are free, some of them are offered at extra charge.

Accommodation

Most TALK International host families conveniently reside near public transportation, making it easier for students and their parents to travel to school or enjoy Fort Lauderdale. TALK Host Families offer single or shared accommodations with breakfast and dinner provided daily.
