Harrow House International College is an English Language School in Swanage, a popular seaside town in the south of England, some 2.5 hours away from London.
Harrow House was founded in 1969 and continues to provide quality educational courses for students from more than 50 different countries. The College is accredited by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) and received the highest grading in all areas. Harrow House is also accredited by the British Council and is a founder member of English UK and Young Learners English UK.

Young Learners Programme
Harrow House offers small, friendly and informal classroom environments, best suited to maximising each student's potential. The programme include 15 hours English per week: accurate use of spoken and written English, reading and writing skills, development of vocabulary, listening and pronunciation.
Week course includes:
- 20 English language lessons;
- daytime and evening activities;
- 1 full-day and 1 half-day excursion.
In addition to English lessons, the following Sports Options (12-17 years old) can be booked at extra cost:
- Tennis - 4.5 hours per week including mini tennis tournament;
- Horse Riding - 3 hours per week;
- Water Sports - 6 hours per week;
- Golf - 6 hours per week.
Academic Challenges (15 - 17 years)
This course offered for students of all levels of ability (CEFR Level A1 - C2) Course includes Mondays to Fridays. English tuition: 15 hours of English language tuition per week+ 15 hours of academic activities per week including a range from the following: English Culture, Local History, Literature and the UNESCO Jurassic Coast, Natural History, all delivered through lectures and talks, conversation and drama, class research and project work and visits or guided tours.
Activities
The programme include sports activities (aeroball, american pool, badminton, basketball, beach games, benchball, football, giant games, handball, introduction to fitness training, lacrosse, mini golf, photo hunt, swimming and more), Arts and Crafts, Bingo, competitions, conversation club, dance classes, discos, films, Internet access, karaoke, live music, quiz games, talent shows and Yoga.
Excursions: Boat Cruise, Corfe Castle, Durlston Castle, Durlston Country Park, Great Globe, Lighthouse and Country Park, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Monkey World, Old Harry Rocks Trek, Poole Quay and UNESCO Jurassic Coast Visitor Centre.
