General information

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is one of the world’s top ranking universities. The fantastic modern campus allows students to have a taste of American university life with facilities including tennis courts, indoor swimming pool, basketball courts and astro turf playing fields.

The location is perfect for exploring Los Angeles, it is only a short 20 minute journey to city’s main attractions including Santa Monica, Universal Studios, Hollywood, Disneyland and Downtown LA.

General English Course

Students have three hours of English lessons per day from Monday to Friday. Lessons are divided into two parts:

Part One: Language input which involves using grammar and vocabulary in various tasks/exercises.
Part Two: Fluency/practice activities aimed at developing fluency through specific tasks like designing a website or poster, conducting a classroom survey or even producing/acting in a short play.

Emphasis on communication helps students to use English for a variety of purposes and in various situations. School's aim is to build students’ knowledge and confidence in understanding and speaking English.

Week course includes:

15 English language lessons;
activity and evening social programme when on campus;
2 half-day and 1 full-day per week.

Activities

During activities we offer a wide range of sporting options to include: Football, Arts & Crafts, Dance, Tennis, Basketball, Wide Games etc.

Evening entertainment programme includes Talent Show, Disco, Quiz Nights, Film Nights, Sports Tournaments and many more options.

Excursion progamme is including: full day excursions to Universal Studio, Disneyland and etc. Half day excursions to Santa Monica, Hollywood, Downtown and etc.
