General information
Saint Peter's University was founded in 1872 and is a co-educational liberal arts college located within a fantastic urban setting. This well-equipped campus of nearly 25 acres is in the heart of up and coming Jersey City, and is just minutes from New York!
New York City centre is just a short train ride away, taking just 20 minutes to get to Midtown. From the Empire State Building to Times Square, there are few cities in the world which can match the sights and excitement New York has to offer.

General English Course
Students have three hours of English lessons per day from Monday to Friday. Lessons are divided into two parts:
- Part One: Language input which involves using grammar and vocabulary in various tasks/exercises.
- Part Two: Fluency/practice activities aimed at developing fluency through specific tasks like designing a website or poster, conducting a classroom survey or even producing/acting in a short play.
Emphasis on communication helps students to use English for a variety of purposes and in various situations. School's aim is to build students’ knowledge and confidence in understanding and speaking English.
Week course includes:
- 15 English language lessons;
- activity and evening social programme when on campus;
- 5 half-day and 1 full-day excursions.
Activities
During activities we offer a wide range of sporting options to include: Football, Arts & Crafts, Dance, Tennis, Basketball, Wide Games etc. Evening entertainment programme includes Talent Show, Disco, Quiz Nights, Film Nights, Sports Tournaments and many more options.
Fantastic excursion progamme is including: full day excursions to downtown, financial district, little Italy, China town and etc. Half day excursions to Central park, museum of natural history, empire state building etc.
