General information

Programme «Holidays in England»

TThis English programme is ideal for students who wish to both learn English and make the most out of our afternoon and evening social activities programme. The course includes 15 hours of English a week. The school works with a specific short course syllabus, concentrating on the four main skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing. The aim is to improve young learners' confidence in the English language as quickly as possible. As well as these four main skills the school also works on other key areas to help develop fluency and accuracy - pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, idioms.

Activities and excursions

After classes and in the evenings young students participate in entertaining and sports activities: arts and crafts, music, swimming, basketball, tennis, badminton, football, water sports, fun contests, quizzes, theatrical performances, talent shows. Twice a week children go on exciting excursions to London, Oxford, Brighton, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bath, Henley-on-Thames, as well as to shopping tours in the surrounding small towns and have fun in the amusement park Chessington World of Adventures.

Accommodation

Children stay in four comfortable student houses providing primarily single and double rooms with all amenities. For younger students the shared rooms with shower and toilet on the floor are provided. The residential buildings have spacious lounge areas with TVs and DVD-players, where students can spend time with their friends and practice English in a relaxed atmosphere.
