General English Course
This English programme is ideal for students who wish to both learn English and make the most out of our afternoon and evening social activities programme. General English course includes 20 lessons of General English a week. The school works with a specific short course syllabus, concentrating on the four main skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing. The aim is to improve young learners' confidence in the English language as quickly as possible. As well as these four main skills the school also works on other key areas to help develop fluency and accuracy - pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, idioms.
Activities and excursions
The school runs an exciting weekly social programme. The aim at BSC is to provide as many opportunities to meet other students as possible and get to know the city. School's weekly social programme is packed with cultural, sporting and leisure activities, including visits to a University college, film club, conversation club, theatre trip, greyhound racing, football, ‘punting’, museum visits and much more. A small charge (£3 to £10) is made for some activities, while others are free of charge. Also all students can join the guided full day excursions to cities around the UK (1 excursion is included in the programme cost).
