General information

The beautiful historic city of Chichester is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the south coast. The city has Chichester Harbour to the south and the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park to the north. It is a brilliant location for the College in the UK and one of the safest areas in the country, which makes it a wonderful place to learn and live.

The Chichester campus has magnificent views of the Cathedral and is close to the centre of the city. At the front of campus we have a large area of parkland which is used for picnics and outdoor sports. In addition to the quality teaching at Chichester College, you will have the chance to enjoy a full and varied student life while in the UK.

General English Course

Learn English through a variety of activities aimed at improving grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. The course includes 15 hours of English per week. Throughout the course there is a strong emphasis on English for communication. Homework and class tests are given at regular intervals to monitor progress. Students are able to make friends with people from many different countries as well as experience British culture first hand.

Activities and excursions

The international department organises a full social programme for you to enjoy. With events like bowling, karaoke, cinema, walking around the city, themed parties you will have plenty to see and do whilst making new friends. For an additional fee you can join interesting guided full day excursions to London, Oxford, Brighton, Windsor Castle or Stonehenge. We are confident that if you choose Chichester College you will enjoy a fulfilled and happy student life and meet students from all over the world.

Accommodation

Homestay is ideal for short stay students who want to experience the traditional experience of living with a local family. Homestay means that you will live in a house with the owner and family. The students are placed in friendly English families primarily in single rooms. The price includes two meals a day with the family (breakfast and dinner) from Monday to Friday and all meals on weekends.

When placed in the residence students live in comfortable single rooms with all amenities. Each room has a bed, desk, chair and wardrobe. Three meals a day is organized in the dining room.
