General information

The Bath Study Centre is located in the heart of the city of Bath. The centre occupies three floors of a Georgian town house on the principal shopping street in the city. Facilities include a reception office, 4 well-equipped classrooms suitable for classes of 10 – 15 students, a study room for leaders, and two internet stations. Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout and all classrooms have interactive whiteboards.

The City of Bath has been a popular destination since Roman times and is one of the most visited cities in Europe. With its long and colourful history, reflected in its unique and varied architecture, Bath offers many attractions, whatever your interests. Walking from the Roman Baths to the medieval Bath Abbey and then on to the Georgian Royal Crescent, visitors can admire Bath’s Georgian layout, with its parks, statues and squares, and its famous cream Bath stone. Modern Bath also has much to offer, boasting a great selection of restaurants, cafés, shops, pubs, theatres, and museums.

General English Course

The curriculum includes 20 English lessons per week. The classes promote the development of the basic language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Experienced teachers of the Bath Study Centre always take into account the peculiarities and needs of every student. The training process takes place in a closed group.

Activities and excursions

The programmes the Bath Study Centre designs can include not only tuition, but also a range of activities and excursions. For junior groups, there are sports options available at the city leisure centre, cinema or ten-pin bowling in nearby Longwell Green, as well as a host of cultural activities in the city. From your base in Bath there are a wide range of places of interest that can be reached on half day or full day trips, including Stonehenge, Salisbury, Bristol, Cardiff, Oxford, Glastonbury, and London.
