General information

Part of The Kings’ School Canterbury, the Junior School is housed in a splendid 16th Century Manor House, set in over 80 acres of gardens on the banks of the River Stour.
The campus is on an extremely safe and secure site - ideal for younger students - and offers excellent levels of pastoral care. The school offers world-class study and recreation facilities – IWB’s in all teaching rooms, a swimming pool, plenty of space for outdoor games and activities, a fine dining hall, and a superb indoor sports hall.
This is a perfect location for younger learners needing extra levels of care and supervision. In addition to a maximum of 10 in a class and a staff to student ratio of 1:9 – a matron, as well as extra on-site St Giles staff – are available at all times.

Week course includes:

  •  15 English language lessons;
  • an action packed afternoon programme of sports, visits and games;

In addition to General English students are offered to take part in Sport Special Interest Option which includes 5 hours of tennis coaching per week from Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) professionals or fencing lessons from qualified instructors. It will help students get the most out of their summer.

There is also a full afternoon social programme organised, including a variety of sports (e.g. football, volleyball, basketball, swimming) and other activities (e.g. film shows, discos, bowling, students nights) and visits to local sites of interest.
